AUTONOMOUS AGENCIES

It’s an all-hands-on-deck approach to keep Jersey City at the top of its game.  The Economic Development Corporation (JCEDC), Housing Authority, Municipal Utilities Authorities (JCMUA), Public Library and Jersey City Redevelopment Agency (JCRA) are all part of that greater goal.  These autonomous agencies consist of authorities and other organizations which are created to address a narrow scope of activities and/or problems.
